Residence Inn by Marriott

In December, we (Renee and Nickie) had the privilege of staying at the Residence Inn by Marriott at River Ridge in Oxnard, California. We were so impressed with this property. This is an “extended stay” style property and is perfect for all different types of retreats. The Penthouse suites are set up like 2 bedroom condos. They have full kitchens which is always a bonus. The downstairs bedroom has it’s own private bathroom.

The living area is pretty roomy and has a pullout sofa, and don’t forget the fireplace that adds that touch of coziness lacking in most hotel rooms. The upstairs is a loft with a queen bed and another bathroom. The vaulted ceilings add to the spacious feel of these suites. Many of the suites overlook the beautiful golf course with the mountains in the background. The complimentary full hot breakfast buffet is just icing on the cake.
